Dinosaurs at the Parker! Students in Grade K and 1 were treated to a Dinosaour show by the Parker PTO. click on gallery to see the whole group of Photos.

2007 Parker School MCAS Results

The Parker School will be working with "Open Circle" this year.

"Open Circle is a comprehensive, grade-differentiated social and emotional learning program for grades K-5 children, their teachers, administrators, other school staff, parents and other caregivers. Our mission is to work with school communities to help children become ethical people, contributing citizens and successful learners. By helping schools implement Open Circle, we foster the development of relationships that support safe, caring and respectful learning communities of children and adults."

Dear Parents,
Students at the Parker are learning keyboarding skills in computer class. Many are excited to be gaining such an important lifelong skill. Below are two good, free sites, appropriate for elementary students. The first one is an excellent, well-designed keyboarding site designed by the BBC. The second has a plainer, but well-done keyboarding practice and test area that would be good for both child and adult. Students are in computer class once a week, so any extra practice at home will benefit them greatly. –Ms. Reid
