PTO Newsletter April
The latest edition of
the Kennedy Connection is now available online.
The Kennedy Connection is the bi-monthly newsletter published by the
volunteer PTO team. Thank you to Kennedy's own Donna
McDonnell
for all her hard work in not only collecting all the stories, but
also taking the time to publish such a great looking newsletter. The current newsletter and all the archives are available on the PTO Newsletter page.
Dr. Seuss Original Story Challenge
Students
in Mrs. McDonnell’s Word Processing and Desktop Publishing computer
classes have completed their project in honor of Dr. Seuss’s 51st
birthday. This project required the kids to
write an original story using the 236 words that Dr. Seuss used to
write “The Cat in the Hat”. All stories in Grades 3, 4, and 5
will be judged with 4 winners selected; one per grade level and one
grand champion.
The winning stories have been selected by the panel of judges and the winners are available for you by clicking on the PDF link to the right.
Student Drop Off & Pickup Traffic Pattern
The
school is currently using a new traffic pattern for dropping off and
picking up students. This new traffic pattern has been implemented to
keep parents and students safely out of the bus traffic in front of the
school. Crossing guards are now in place for the morning and afternoon
arrival and depature to help support the new traffic pattern.
