Billerica Blast 2008
Congratulations 2008 Graduates!!
The Blast Committee is thrilled to give you this party in celebration of your achievements. We look forward to a great night; hopefully one you will remember for a long time. Have a BlastÉ
BILLERICA BLAST GUIDELINES:
v Only Billerica Memorial High School Graduating Seniors holding a Blast ticket will be admitted. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold during Senior Sign-out.
v Admittance will begin at 11:00PM and run until 11:30PM. Parents will be notified if their son/daughter has not arrived by 11:45PM.
v No student will be allowed into the Blast if it is determined that he/she is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Instead, the student will be held at the school and his/her parents will be notified.
v No smoking is allowed during the Blast in compliance with the High School rules. This is a state law that the school does not have the authority to waive.
v A supervised area will be set aside for students to store any personal items (such as keys, cameras, purses) they bring to the Blast. It is highly recommended that a student bring only necessities for the evening. Purses and backpacks are discouraged and will be inspected at the door. There is no need for any money or other items for the activities. Do not bring sleeping bags, quilts or pillows.
v Students will remain in the designated areas of the Blast until it ends at 5:00AM. No student will be allowed to leave before that time. In case of an emergency, parents will be contacted by phone by a Blast Committee person to arrange for the parents to pick up their son/daughter. No exceptions can be made to these rules.
Purchase of a ticket to the Billerica Blast 2008 demonstrates agreement to observe the guidelines set up by the Blast Committee and School Administration. Billerica Blast is a school event and thus appropriate school behavior will be expected. A student must be present to receive a prize. If the student has left, the prize will be forfeited unless dismissal was approved in advance by a school official due to a school event.
The Blast Committee is looking for parent volunteers to help with clean-up between 4AM – 6:30AM, after the Blast. If interested please contact Gail Hartery at gail.hartery@brooks.com or Kathy Rosa at rosa@bc.edu.
