Welcome to the web site of the Billerica Memorial High School Guidance Department and Career Ed Office. Whether you are a student, parent, a faculty or staff member, or an individual in the wider BMHS community, we are pleased to have you visit our site.

We have designed this web site to provide up to date information about a variety of guidance-related topics. The information is intended to assist parents and students with some of the major issues, questions, and concerns they may encounter during their years at BMHS. Because most of the information provided is grade specific, the web site is organized around grade levels.

Depending on the needs of the individual, the web site can function in a variety of ways:

  • Initiate thinking about career goals or college interests
  • Raise questions about individual priorities in future planning
  • Offer general guidance concerning adequate high school preparation
  • Assist students with the post-secondary planning process
  • Connect to specific information about most US colleges and universities
  • Provide information to students with specific interests or special needs
  • Provide links to other web sites on the Internet that contain additional information and resources for further research

All of the sections are intended to provide information or raise questions that are most useful when supplemented by the individual guidance of a student’s counselor. Students and parents are encouraged to contact counselors at any time to discuss issues that arise from the use of this web site or for any other student concerns.
